Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Launches Advocacy Campaign
Posted at 11:14 AM
At its 209th Annual Meeting today, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce announced that it is reaching out to more than 25,000 regional decision-makers through a new campaign called Relay: your position, our advocacy.
The goals of this campaign are to identify the priorities of Greater Philadelphia’s business community and to build a broader advocacy network surrounding four key issue-areas: Business Climate, Infrastructure, Workforce and Quality of Life.
“As the premier advocate for free enterprise in Greater Philadelphia, we know the Chamber is most effective when our priorities reflect the sentiments of the region’s entire business community- from large corporations to small businesses and start-up entrepreneurs,” said Rob Wonderling, President & CEO of the Chamber.
To solicit feedback, the Chamber created an online survey which was sent today to the Chamber’s members and affiliates, prospective members, industry associations and local chambers. The survey also will be posted on the Chamber’s Web site for the next month.
Relay will be a sustained, multi-year effort to advance our region’s ability to attract, retain and grow jobs by advocating for workable reform based on core principles shared by the business community.
