On Monday, February 1, 2010 Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, a U.S. News & World Report Best Physical & Cognitive Therapy Hospital, opened a brand new Outpatient facility at 806 Floral Vale Blvd in Yardley PA.

The new, 1000 square foot facility will treat residents of Yardley—adolescents (14 & up), adults, and geriatrics—and folks from the surrounding communities throughout Bucks County.

Former patient of Magee Rehabiltation Hospital to hold benefit concert with his band Feb. 20

In 2004,a near-fatal car accident left Ryan “Gooch” Nelson with a spinal cord injury. He thought his days of playing the guitar were over.

But thanks to Magee Rehabilitation Hospital and some determined musicians Gooch and his band 61 North are performing all over Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware.

And Gooch and the band are giving back.

On February 20, from 7-10 p.m. in Salem Community College's Davidow Theatre in Carneys Point, NJ, 61 North will hold their second annual benefit concert for Magee Rehabilitation Hospital and the Adam Taliaferro Foundation.

Performing with 61 North for the concert will be band Mad-Sweet Pangs from Newark, Delaware. Special guests include Adam Taliaferro, SCC President Peter B. Contini and Brian Kanady of Rowan Radio who will emcee the event.
