The mission of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia, the “cultural arm” of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, is to help drive the vitality and economic development of the Greater Philadelphia Region by strengthening the partnership between business and the arts and cultural community. The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia was founded in 1981 to be a catalyst for strengthening the capacity of arts and cultural organizations through partnerships with the business sector. These partnerships build business support for the arts and help make the region an even more attractive place to live, work and visit. As importantly, the partnerships provide employees with professional development and leadership opportunities, as well as ways to improve work/life balance.
