Nolan Painting Accepts Respected 2012 Customer Service Award from Angie’s List

Nolan Painting, Inc. has been awarded the esteemed 2012 Angie’s List Super Service Award for the 7th consecutive year. Angie’s List is a website that collects consumer reviews on local contractors and doctors in more than 550 service categories. There one would find thousands of unbiased reports and reviews about service companies in specific areas.
The criteria for the award include receiving a minimum number of outstanding reports from Angie’s List members, maintaining an A average on both the reports for 2012 as well as on their overall reports and not being in poor standing with the Better Business Bureau.
“Our Super Service Award winners are the cream of the crop when it comes to providing consistently high quality customer service, as judged by the customers who hired them,” said Angie Hicks, founder of Angie’s List. Jim Falk, lead salesman from Nolan Painting, expressed much gratitude when receiving this award. “We are once again thrilled to have this honor bestowed upon us! We have always been a company that puts customer service above all else and it is with great thanks that we accept this award.”

Job Fair at Nolan Painting: Meets Rise of Home Improvement Demand

Havertown, PA (August, 2011) – Despite Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate of 7.6%, Nolan Painting of Havertown is hiring about a dozen painters in August. The summer time is the busiest time of the year for Nolan where they receive approximately 50 calls a week to schedule outdoor painting projects. According to President Kevin Nolan, “our numbers are up. We have 50 painters working for us and we’re receiving over 50 leads a week. In order to meet this demand we need to hire more help.”

A Main Line homeowner recently said to Kevin Nolan, “People aren’t moving, they’re improving.” As the housing market declines, people don’t want to sell for a lesser amount than they paid. Why not instead remodel, revamp? And that’s exactly what people are doing. According to a home improvement spending report from Harvard University’s Remodeling Futures Program at the Joint Center for Housing Studies, homeowners are shifting away from simple replacement projects and energy retrofits to more expansive remodels and upgrades. There’s a move to invest in homes again due to recent homeowner optimism say housing expert Kermit Baker, director of the Remodeling Futures Program at the Joint Center for Housing Studies.

Nolan Painting is feeling this fortunate demand and is looking to continue providing quality, professional work as it expands its business.

Nolan Painting Is Dedicated to Our Community

Nolan Painting of Havertown is very active in its strong support of the community. In 2010, we attended 76 community events, supported numerous organizations, donated thousands of hours of volunteer service and helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for great causes.

To meet our neighbors and customers, Nolan Painting attends, sends volunteers to and sponsors road races, concerts in the park, festivals, silent auctions, shows and sporting events throughout the Main Line and surrounding areas.
