We hope to build community and inspire residents in restoring and beautifying this critical recreation center. Your service will transform Christy into a brighter, cleaner, and safer place for children to learn in summer camps, after-school programs, and other enrichment activities. Please join us.

City Year Open House

City Year invites you to attend our Open House

WHAT: Every 26 seconds a student drops out of school. Come learn about how you can keep students in school and on track.

WHEN: Monday, January 19th, 2011*
· Stop by anytime between 2pm-7pm
· 20 minute presentations, followed by meetings with admissions staff

WHO: Young leaders aged 17-24, Professors, Family and Friends, and anyone else who wants to learn more about City Year.

City Year is an education based non-profit that unites diverse young adults for a year of full-time service. As tutors, mentors and role models, these young leaders keep students in school and on track to high school graduation. City Year is located in 20 U.S. cities and is part of the AmeriCorps Network.
