Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women Opens Career Fair to Public

The Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women and Tory Johnson, CEO of Women For Hire, announced today that the Rework Career Fair will be free to the public during the sixth annual conference this Thursday at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

Presented by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, the career fair offers power sessions on negotiation, branding, networking and social media. In addition to hosting local and national employers and recruiters with current employment opportunities in Pennsylvania, the career fair will offer resume critiquing and tips on navigating the current job market.

Those interested in attending the luncheon address and education sessions throughout the day, can register at PAGovernorsConferenceforWomen.org.

Suze Orman to Keynote Sixth Annual Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women

The Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women, co-hosted by Governor Edward G. Rendell and the Pennsylvania Commission for Women, announced that financial expert Suze Orman will keynote the sixth annual Conference, to be held on Sept. 17, 2009, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The Conference will also partner with Women For Hire to host the ReWork Career Fair. Led by Women For Hire CEO Tory Johnson, workplace contributor on ABC's Good Morning America, the fair will feature local and national employers and recruiters with current employment opportunities in Pennsylvania. Other keynotes include leadership consultant Marcus Buckingham and Judge Glenda Hatchett.
