Emerio participates in Microsoft’s Future of Productivity Launch

Emerio Singapore participated in the Microsoft’s Future of Productivity Launch, a platform where partners & customers were invited to understand and experience MS’s latest 2010 products - MS Office 2010, SharePoint 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2 and Visual Studio 2010. The event was oversubscribed with Steve Ballmer as the keynote speaker.

Emerio leveraged on this event by showcasing our capabilities in implementing Microsoft technologies. We demonstrated Content Management, Social Networking & Business Intelligence developed using SharePoint 2010 which was a great take away for our visitors. We also joined hands with our partner K2 to have them showcase their workflow capabilities employed by us.

To spice up the event and to aid better recall of Emerio and K2, we had visitors participate in a Memory Challenge game where the fastest person to uncover matching messages would win the top prize. The winner took an amazing 16 seconds to reveal all the messages without an error!

NTT Com to Acquire Major Stake in Emerio GlobeSoft Pte Ltd

TOKYO, JAPAN - NTT Communications (NTT Com) and Emerio GlobeSoft Pte Ltd (Emerio), a leading technology services and outsourcing company in Singapore, announced today that NTT Com will soon acquire a 70-percent stake in Emerio. NTT Com has reached agreement with Emerio’s shareholders concerning the acquisition.

The combination of NTT Com’s world-class capabilities in fields such as networks and data center services with Emerio’s high-level know-how, experience and some 1,200 engineers will enable NTT Com to enhance the coverage, cost effectiveness, reliability and quality of its global services and strengthen its ability to meet multinational companies’ growing needs for globally seamless and one-stop solutions for networks, applications and servers.

Emerio: Keeping the show going for its clients

EMERIO GlobeSoft is not a household name. Which isn’t surprising, since the global IT services company doesn’t place heavy emphasis on marketing and advertising. But no one should rush to judgment; this is a company that has collected major awards in just the past two months.

Speaking from his office in Ubi TechPark, Mr. Nim said the awards are an honour for the company: 'We do not advertise ourselves much, since we prefer people knowing us through recommendation.' But awards assure potential clients of Emerio's credibility.

According to Mr. Nim, corporate IT budgets attach considerable weight to support and services, the sector his company focuses on. 'I like to think of our managed services business like public utilities - electricity and water - because we ensure IT is always available to clients when they need it,' he said.

Harish Nim of Emerio Corp. is Singapore Indian Entrepreneur of the Year

Mr. Harish Nim, CEO & Founder of Emerio GlobeSoft Pte Ltd [Director of Emerio Corp. in USA] has been awarded the Singapore Indian Entrepreneur of the Year for Large Enterprises by the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industries (SICCI). The award was presented by the honourable Minister of Finance, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, at a glitzy ceremony held at the University Cultural Centre of NUS, Singapore on the 10th of October.

This 6th edition of the SICCI-DBS Awards 2009 was held in tandem with SICCI’s 85th anniversary celebrations. The nominees were evaluated by KPMG, who were the Knowledge Partners for the award.

The other finalists in the same category were Mr. Raju Amurdalingam (The National Forwarder), Dr. T. Chandroo (Modern Montessori International), Mr Sarjit Singh (Mohar Shipping) & Mr. Amit Sujan (Itcan Pte Ltd).

Emerio in IAOP’s ‘2009 Global Outsourcing 100’ list, fourth time in a row
