Lean Startup Machine, the workshop that focuses on customer development and lean methodologies, is coming back to Philly the weekend of 9/21 to 9/23, right here at the epicenter of entrepreneurship (that’s Venturef0rth, fyi). It’s a three day workshop where attendees use customer development and lean startup principles to validate an idea for a new product or service. Materials Supervisor

AWE Tuning is looking for an experienced Materials Supervisor to work within our growing inventory department.

The Materials Supervisor’s role is to ensure that the AWE Tuning inventory integrity is maintained at all times. The role ensures accuracy of transactions impacting inventory (sales orders, invoices and PO/receipts) with regards to price, quantity and delivery addresses, and that the catalog is complete, competitive and accurate. This individual must have impeccable organizational skills as well as excellent written and oral communication ability.

The Materials Supervisor will be responsible for:

Inventory Accuracy

Invoicing
Freight Quotes
Order Placement/Receipts
Cycle Counts
Min/Max/Shelf Talkers
RMA Management
Kit building and Pick/Pack support
Team management
ERP management

Keeping current with ERP technology
CRM workflow mastery and development
Maintaining current pricing and application data.
Managing Dealer and promotional program discount data.
Catalog Maintenance
Vendor management

Product database ownership
Overstock management
Qualifications


At least four (4) years’ experience within an inventory and data intensive role
Database management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
Strong attention to detail.
Prior supervisory experience
Interest in emerging marketing technologies
Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic database knowledge
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Entrepreneurial / innovative mind set, interest in growing a brand and organization
Should be an energetic, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and appropriate professional image

Senior Mechanical Engineer Needed

Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the aiding in the design and development of AWE Tuning products while taking into account the goals of the company and the needs of consumers. The Senior Mechanical Engineer balances the attributes of a highly technical engineer, creative thinker and excellent communicator. Additionally, the role is responsible for providing market technical information for product development and marketing purposes.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the following areas:

Lead development efforts for AWE Tuning brand products, including identification of new opportunities
Sourcing and vetting external vendors and resources
Oversight of R&D and QA processes
Project management of all internal go-to-market engineering and fabrication products
Bring new tools and methodologies to the company
Support Sales and Marketing, including product documentation and technical support
Represent AWE Tuning at company and marketing events as needed
Qualifications:

Minimum of six (6) years experience in mechanical engineering with proven track record of developing premium offerings in the performance automotive aftermarket space
Mastery of various Solidworks CAD, CAM, CFD, and Faro digitizing software
Bachelors of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or comparable degree
Strong leadership skills, proven ability to manage a growing team
Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Entrepreneurial / innovative mind set, interest in growing a brand and organization
Should be energetic, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and appropriate professional image
