For 47 years, Associated Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired (ASB) has celebrated the accomplishments of people who are blind or visually impaired and the efforts of organizations and individuals to promote independence for those with a visual disability. This year, ASB is proud to honor deaf and blind sculptor, Carol Saylor, with the individual award; Bank of America, as the Corporate Award recepient; and The Star Group, as the Special Recognition Award recepient. Stephen Moore, renowned economist, author, television commentator, and Washington policy maker, will serve as this year's Keynote Speaker.
The 47th Annual Louis Braille Awards will be held on November 10, 2006 from 11:30a.m. - 2:00p.m. at The Union League of Philadelphia.
