New! Accessing Advocates Program at the Earle Mack School of Law, Drexel University

The Career Strategies Office of the Earle Mack School of Law, Drexel University announces a new service to potential employers who have temporary work projects. Accessing Advocates matches students, recent graduates or licensed attorneys from the Earle Mack School of Law with employers who need temporary help. We are making this service available first to our alums and 3L students.

Rates are set in advance for students, recent grads and admitted attorneys. Employers may either sign-up to receive a booklet of resumes in order to choose a candidate, or may request the next available candidate. Al is employed by Johnson & Johnson as Senior Director in the Worldwide Environment, Health & Safety department where he directs the global Product Stewardship, Design for Environment and Green Marketing programs. He is the author of the book "Industry Self-regulation and Voluntary Environmental Compliance" (CRC Press, 2002) and has written numerous articles on product stewardship and environmental compliance topics.

Al has over 28 years of experience in the EHS field and has led the support of Johnson & Johnson's environmental and toxicology programs as well as development of the Healthy Planet 2010 Sustainability goals. He has experience as an environmental consultant and worked as a hazardous waste inspector for the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.

Drexel University to host the International Arts of Fashion Foundation Symposium and Design Competition – Oct 24-28, 2009

This year’s Arts of Fashion, a five-day global fashion event combining an
exhibition, lectures, master classes, film screenings that culminates with Fashion Shows at the
Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA), will be hosted by Drexel University’s Department of Fashion
and Design & Merchandising of the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design on Drexel’s
main campus. Arts of Fashion is considered the premier international university-level fashion
competition.
