Philadelphia Visitor Center Announces New Sponsors

The Visitor Center signed new sponsors including Starr Restaurants, The Bourse, National Constitution Center, Philadelphia Zoo, Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program and national sponsors Amtrak, Lysol and Broadway's musical Wicked.

Two and a half million tourists begin their trip at the Visitor Center each year. Sponsors recognized the value in using the Visitor Center to reach a wide demographic.

"The travel season is upon us and this year it's expected to be a busy travel season in Philadelphia" commented Angelo Scialfa of Fox Run Group, the company that sells sponsorships and advertising in the Visitor Center. "Sponsors see the value in the Visitor Center as a venue that reaches a national audience with disposable income"

"This is a unique venue like a ball park with millions of people each year except our guests are unique visitors and not repeat consumers. We offer the marketer opportunity to engage the consumer at the point of interest and purchase" said Scialfa.

Angelo Scialfa, President of Fox Run Group, received a recognition award from the New York City Department of Education, Career & Technical Education for his contribution. Scialfa is recognized as a “CTE Partner” for serving on the Virtual Enterprises International Advisory Board as well as volunteering as a judge for the VEI Business Plan Competition.

Virtual Enterprises is a high school entrepreneurship program and global business simulation that empowers students to create and manage their own business ventures.

Fox Run Group has hired Ashley Weber as a Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator. Ashley will work to increase the company’s position through social media and in the press.

The two areas complement each other and Ashley has a handle on both” said Angelo Scialfa, President of Fox Run Group. “Ashley’s unique experience will allow Fox Run Group to expand its presence in the marketplace”.
