3rd annual Jazz/Art Festival & Health Fair sponsored by Beech Community Services on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from noon to 7pm at Broad & Cecil B. Moore Avenue. Live music by Gerald Veasley, Carol Riddick, Janet McNeil aka Te'Naj, Richard Jah Ace & the Sons of Ace, Plan B and Soul Comedy Cafe's own TuRae. Beech Community Services is sponsoring "Jazz on the Ave," Saturday, May 5th 12PM-7PM, along Cecil B. Moore Avenue from Broad St. to 17th Street. Interested vendors should call Christine at 215-763-8868. WJJZ will be on hand with giveaways and a live broadcast. Also, performing is Philly's own, Carol Riddick, Monnette Sudler, Kevin Valentine Quartet, Fortune Vinson Cruse, Nagohead, and In The Company of Poets, just to name a few. There is something for the whole family to enjoy.
