Philadelphia Regional Museum is Only Northeast U.S. Venue for Renaissance and Baroque Art from Italy’s famed Uffizi
What: For the first time ever, a selection of 45 paintings and tapestries from the famed Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy, is coming to the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pa. from April 21, 2012 through August 10, 2012.
Where: The James A. Michener Art Museum is located at 138 South Pine St., Doylestown, Pa., in Bucks County, a suburb of Philadelphia.
The museum’s hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free for members and children under six years of age. Non-member admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors $11 for college students with valid ID and $7.50 for children ages six through 18. Adult group tours are available for $12 per person.
