Join the Professional Women's Roundtable for a Mural Arts Trolley Tour

Posted to Event by Ms. Christie Mills of Professional Women's Roundtable at 11:11 AM

Join PWR for a Mural Arts Trolley Tour
Date: Thursday, May 16, 2013
Time: 5:00pm-8:00pm
Location: The Gallery at Market East
9th & Market Streets, Level 2, Philadelphia, PA 19107
Cost: Varies (please see PWR website for specifics)

Please join us for a new tour opportunity from last year’s focus! Since its beginnings as a component of the Philadelphia Anti-Graffiti Network in 1984, the Mural Arts Program has produced over 3,000 murals.

We will begin the evening with networking and an opportunity to wander through the on-site studio. Then, we’ll hop aboard a trolley to explore a special Mural Arts tour designed to celebrate Women’s History Month featuring outstanding works by female artists. Our antique trolley travels through Philadelphia neighborhoods to view a collection of murals, featuring women muralists such as Meg Saligman, Ann Northrup, and Michelle Ortiz.

Note: Space is limited so register early. This event includes light bites and refreshments.
