Now in its third year, this annual 5-kilometer Run-and-Walk event will take place on Sunday, September 11, 2011. Serious runners and folks just out for exercise come out to Horsham’s wooded Carpenter Park to support Livengrin’s mission.

Livengrin has brought hope and recovery to people challenged by the disease of alcoholism and drug dependency. We have “been here” for more than 100,000 people throughout the Philadelphia metro region.

One in four households in this region is affected by this disease directly or indirectly. Proceeds are dedicated to patient programs and charitable care (to assist those seeking treatment who may not have financial resources in these difficult times.) The Run and its media coverage spreads public awareness of the availability of - and the need for - treatment and recovery from addiction.
