Publicis Health Media Named Presenting Sponsor of Man & Woman of the Year

Posted to Announcement by Mr. Gregory R. Seitter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at 11:05 AM

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® of Eastern Pennsylvania is proud to announce Publicis Health Media as Presenting Sponsor for their 2016 Man & Woman of the Year campaign.

Despite progress, more than a third of blood cancer patients still do not survive five years after their diagnosis, so more funding is needed to advance research and ensure access to treatments to help save more lives.

Each year, in communities across the country, dedicated candidates engage in an exciting competition to earn LLS's "Man & Woman of the Year" titles. Raising funds for blood cancer research the candidates compete in honor of children who are local blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year.

Every dollar raised counts as one vote and the titles are awarded to the man and woman with the most votes at the end of 10 weeks. The Philadelphia campaign concludes at the Grand Finale at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel on June 10th.
