ALDIA News Media 20th Anniversary Gala

Please join leaders and dignitaries on Saturday, November 17th, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the National Constitution Center. This Gala will reflect 20 years of groundbreaking news coverage by AL DIA and will also be the debut of its first published book, “200 Years of Latino History in Philadelphia”, a visual account of the history of Latinos in our increasingly multi-cultural city.

Enjoy the entertainment of classical strings while you network during the cocktail hour: 6pm-7pm. Indulge in the gourmet dinner ,provided by Brulee catering, while you listen to Latin Jazz music from the Cintron Band. Cocktails will be available throughout the evening as you enjoy the surrounding enviroment of the National Constitution Center.

ALDIA News Media is looking for savvy, astute, and entrepreneurial Account Executives to join our innovative and growing media company. Executives will be responsible for creative work as well as for servicing, retaining, and growing all advertising revenue. The Executive is required understand digital platforms and digital advertising. The Executive is also responsible for breaking new business as well as developing and growing their base of advertisers. The position will also be charged with examining and making recommendations on the special issues calendar and special sections throughout the year. This person must present a prospective client with a smart campaign geared towards success. This person must have sound project management skills in order to multi-task client management and production management before deadlines. Executive will also be responsible for financial goals and otherwise.

Friday evenings take on a whole new groove with Art After 5 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a unique blend of entertainment from 5:00–8:45 p.m. in the Great Stair Hall. With an eclectic mix of international music on the first Friday of each month, and recognized and emerging jazz artists performing all other Fridays, it’s a stylish way to start your weekend.

Kat Edmonson will be the entertainment for 9/14.

The New York Times called Edmonson "a promising young jazz singer with a kittenish voice and an amiably relaxed style" while The Boston Globe said, "Edmonson might be the most promising American jazz singer to come along since Cassandra Wilson."
