Sabre Systems, Inc Actively Supports Community Programs
Sabre Systems, Inc has a long and generous tradition of supporting the communities in which we operate. Sabre believes that by partnering with the local communities, we strengthen the ties that bind us.
Sabre is a strong and proud supporter of the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania. In addition to having two employees who are American Red Cross (AMR) board members, Sabre employees and their families participate annually in the Red Cross Walk. The “Walk” is a 12-kilometer fundraising event held in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. This year, Sabre’s team raised more than $2,600. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter responds to nearly 1,000 disasters and provides education and training to children and adults with life-saving skills. Sabre also helped redesign the chapter’s Web site, www.redcross-philly.org; Sabre’s technology and creativity helped launch a fresh new website with state of the art imagery.
We are also a proud sponsor of the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON). THON is a year round fundraising event benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund. The fund helps conquer childhood cancer at the Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey, Pa. The year of fundraising concludes in a no-sitting, no-sleeping, 48-hour dance marathon. This year, Sabre helped THON raise over $4.2 million for the fight against children’s cancer.
Sabre is equally proud of our sponsorship of Rett Syndrome, Big Brother Big Sisters of Bucks County and Gilda’s Club. We wish to thank our employees and their families for their support. Together we aid in the awareness of these worthy causes with our time, money and hearts. Giving, Caring, Sharing is our community service motto and we are proud to be part of it!
