Supplier Network Bolsters Supporting Companies
As the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Supplier Network welcomes its Fall 2006 class, we are proud to introduce an enhanced list of Supporting Companies from Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey, whose procurement executives train and network with Supplier Network attendees as they aim to improve their business operations and secure interviews, bids and contracts.
The educational and networking series is seeing tangible results as more and more small companies—including woman-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned—are gaining direct business connections to the procurement executives of large regional companies. Over the past year, nearly 200 successful small businesses have completed the program, many of which have already been awarded contracts from our top supporters.
Sponsored by Citizens Bank, the series connects small business owners and executives with the region’s foremost procurement officers. By enhancing their marketability and developing their business strategies, the current 170 Supplier Network businesses have strengthened their qualifications to compete for contracts with the region’s larger companies, collectively developing more than 300 new contacts.
The following Supplier Network Supporting Companies have pledged to help better prepare small businesses to pursue large bids, compete for contracting opportunities from large corporations and government agencies, and strategize for growth.
