Corporate Coaching for Your Organization’s Top Talent

Coach. Develop. Retain. That’s the philosophy behind a new program that offers opportunities for your company to invest in the development of your organization’s top talent now that will pay dividends in the form of a pool of highly trained and motivated leaders to draw from later.

A unique professional development program has been created by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) and the Chamber’s cultural arm, the Arts and Business Council of Greater Philadelphia.

This corporate training is available to help cultivate your company’s high-potential employees.

It offers professional development opportunities that benefit young professionals as well as the arts and cultural groups they serve.

It is a perfect blend of YPN’s high-end networking in a casual setting coupled with the Arts & Business Council’s well-rounded professional development programs.

The Corporate Coach Program supports and trains emerging leaders in your organization by providing opportunities for them to become good corporate citizens and even better employees.

The program provides experiences that help your staff develop improved networking skills, expand their contact base and cultivate lasting business relationships – all while enhancing their knowledge and awareness of the Greater Philadelphia arts & cultural community.

Corporate Coach Program Advantages

Young Professionals Network - 30 Memberships

For over a decade, YPN has proven to be an ideal vehicle for promising young business men and women, ages 24 to 38, from hundreds of companies and a variety of industries and locations. Comprised of 800-plus members, it is a personal growth and professional development program designed to introduce young business men and women to the region’s vast resources and provide an insider’s view of the regional business scene.

The following Arts & Business Council programs are included as part of the 30 YPN Memberships detailed above:

Arts & Business Council: Business On Call® Program - 20 Volunteer Positions
Launched in 1994, this unique program provides area arts and cultural organizations with business people who perform hands-on, short-term volunteer assignments. Arts organizations benefit from the added hands-on assistance to fill a variety of needs including working as extra staff at theaters and musical performances, helping at galas, gardening at historical sites, handling special projects and more. Executives benefit from the exposure to exciting and educational opportunities in the community.

Arts & Business Council: Awards Luncheon, May 2007 - 10 Tickets
Celebrated at the Pennsylvania Convention Center for over 20 years, this event attracts 1,700 business, political, civic, hospitality and cultural leaders from 70 regional businesses and 100 arts and cultural organizations. The award honors outstanding leaders in the arts, as well as business/arts partnerships that have significantly contributed to the enrichment of the region’s cultural landscape and the community’s economic vitality.

Arts & Business Council: Business Volunteers for the Arts® (BVA) Program - 4 Positions
This program provides experiential development and leadership opportunities for business professionals to enhance their skill set by consulting with arts and cultural organizations. Since 1981, BVA has served hundreds of arts and cultural organizations throughout the region with the involvement of more than 600 business executives who provided management consulting on issues such as marketing, strategic planning, accounting and human resources.

Arts & Business Council: Technology Connectors™ Program - 5 Positions
This program provides an exceptional opportunity for technology professionals to assist in improving the technology capacity of arts and cultural institutions in the region so that they can use technology more strategically to be better positioned to serve their missions and operate efficiently.
