Select Premiers Ambassador Program to Promote Philadelphia Region
Select Greater Philadelphia premiered its Ambassador Program and Tool Kit last month to an audience of over 120 business leaders. The Ambassador Program engages Greater Philadelphia business leaders in attracting new businesses to the region.
The voices of top executives are critical to bringing business to the region because prospects want to know the experiences and success of their peers.
“Businesses in this region are truly dedicated to growing our economy and are showing that dedication by becoming ambassadors,” said Thomas G. Morr, President and CEO of Select Greater Philadelphia.
The Ambassador Tool Kit contains essential materials to be used by ambassadors to stimulate interest in Philadelphia as a business destination.
The keystone of the Tool Kit is a video produced by Select. The video disk, about the size of a business card, features three prominent business leaders within the region: Douglas R.Conant, President and CEO of Campbell Soup Company; Charles O. Holliday, Jr., Chairman and CEO of DuPont; and John J. Brennan, Chairman and CEO of Vanguard, who talk about what makes Greater Philadelphia a desirable place to live and do business.
The DVD is available in many forms: it is posted on YouTube and ambassador.selectgreaterphiladelphia.com; as an MP4 for viewing on iPods, and it is also available for inclusion in PowerPoint.
