Arts & Business Council Awards 2007 Will Rock
Get ready for “Rock the Arts,” the groovin’ noontime jam on May 10 that will put the spotlight on business and arts leaders who are rocking the arts with their dedication, leadership and creativity. The 2007 honorees for the Arts & Business Council’s annual awards program have topped the charts of the business and arts partnership scene, sharing their expertise and resources to achieve big results. Their stories will truly inspire you.
Electrifying performances will start the show promptly at noon – as Myra Bazell and ensemble push the limits of physical movement through edgy, postmodern dance and CJ Tywoniak, an up-and-coming rock sensation from the Paul Green School of Rock, brings down the house. The legendary Blue Notes will take center stage with their smooth, soulful sounds.
Each year the Arts & Business Council, a Chamber Affiliate, celebrates some of the most exciting partnerships between nonprofit arts and cultural organizations and business leaders from the Greater Philadelphia Region. The annual event highlights partnerships that are mutually beneficial and contribute to the economic and cultural vitality of the region. These success stories have inspired hundreds of business leaders and employees from companies of every size and shape to become volunteers through the Council’s programs.
