Learn Tools and Techniques for Successful Leadership

Enhance your leadership skills by gaining an inside look at the tools and techniques Fortune 500 companies use to develop their leaders at the Chamber’s Executive MBA Spotlight program on Thursday, April 19, at the Union League of Philadelphia.

Join us to hear firsthand how effective leaders perform and gain an inside perspective on the leadership programs at top organizations around the world and in our own backyard. Albert A. Vicere, a nationally recognized leadership consultant to Fortune 500 companies and professor at the Penn State Smeal College of Business Executive MBA Program in Philadelphia, will share his findings from working with a vast global client list including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Eastman Kodak, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Westinghouse.

During an interactive panel discussion moderated by James B. Thomas, Dean of the Smeal College of Business, regional business executives will join Vicere to share with attendees valuable methods to refine and bolster their personal performance and reach their leadership potential.  The featured panelists are Victoria Green, Senior Consultant, Hay Group, and Matthew Schuyler, Chief Human Resources Officer, Capital One.

Senior executives interested in enhancing their leadership skills and/or considering an MBA are encouraged to attend Executive MBA Spotlight.  Prospective Executive MBA students are invited to stay for an information session following the program.

Albert Vicere, Executive Education Professor of Strategic Leadership Penn Sate’s Smeal College of Business, holds bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees from Penn State University, where he served for more than 11 years as the Smeal College’s associate dean for executive education. He was the founding director of Penn State’s Institute for the Study of Organizational Effectiveness (ISOE), and has earned a number of MBA Excellence in Teaching awards for his courses on strategic leadership.  In addition to his current faculty duties at Penn State, Vicere is president of Vicere Associates Inc., a consulting firm with an extensive global client list.
