Working Solutions: Free Workshop on How to Build an Internship Program
Join your business colleagues in changing 1,000 lives with the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce by providing employer-paid internships for Philadelphia youth this summer.
Employer-paid internships are a part of Working Solutions, the Chamber’s campaign to help build the region’s next generation of workers by providing young people with the tools and experience necessary to become capable and productive citizens and employees.
Learn best practices for creating and structuring a successful internship program at your workplace at a free educational session on April 11 at Drexel University.
Speakers will represent businesses of all sizes, so that you can hear firsthand how to create an internship program best suited to your organization.
Hiring interns is an easy, low-cost approach to building your company today while developing the business leaders of tomorrow.
It’s also a good way to break down barriers between businesses and youth, while enhancing our local economy.
Thanks to the support and commitment of the following employers, we’re almost halfway to our goal of identifying 1,000 summer internships by May 1. As of April 1, companies have committed to providing 440 internships through the Philadelphia Youth Network.

Together with our corporate partner Commerce Bank and managing partner Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN), we are collaborating with WorkReady Philadelphia, a broad-based partnership dedicated to building the region’s future workforce.
