Legislative Reception

Business leaders representing organizations and corporations from across the Commonwealth braved the elements in Harrisburg for the annual Pennsylvania Legislative Reception in April.

Made possible through the collective efforts of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, and Pennsylvania Business Roundtable, the reception honored members of the General Assembly and executive branch of Pennsylvania state government.

Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, Senate Majority Floor Leader Dominic Pileggi (R.) , and House Majority Floor Leader Bill DeWeese (D.) gave private briefings to participants as part of a new educational component of the event made possible through the sponsorship of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. Attendees then joined the Governor, a host of members of the General Assembly and their staff, and key members of the Rendell Administration for the reception in the Keystone Building Atrium.

Over the years, this annual reception has grown in stature and proven to be an excellent opportunity to interact with officials, as well as colleagues and new business acquaintances from throughout the Commonwealth. This year was no exception.
