Family First: Managing Non-Family Member Employees

A panel of successful family business owners and their top non-family executives will lend insight into how family businesses can effectively utilize non-family members on their Board of Directors and in executive positions, at a Family First educational program on Tuesday, June 27 at the Ace Center in Lafayette Hill. Family business owners will learn how to make non-family employees feel like part of the extended family, and non-family employees will learn how to succeed in a family business, without sharing the same last name.

Family First is Greater Philadelphia’s first program exclusively for family-owned business. This program, sponsored by Firstrust Bank, supports the growth of our region’s family businesses through educational seminars and networking opportunities.  So far, 200 Chamber members have already identified their business as family-owned.
