Chamber Participates in National Conference on Volunteering and Service
The Chamber is co-hosting a forum at the National Conference on Volunteering and Service on Tuesday July 17. “The Double Bottom Line: Doing Good for the Community” workshop takes place from 7:30-9:30 a.m. in Room 204-A at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Moderated by Joseph Frick, Chairman of the Board, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and President & CEO, Independence Blue Cross, this forum will feature CEOs from Philadelphia’s regional businesses and national and international companies that have a strong presence in Philadelphia. Each of these companies has implemented a pro-active, strategic approach to its corporate citizenship initiatives. The audience will learn about the intrinsic and business benefits of a strategic approach, and how to facilitate successful relationships with nonprofit partner organizations.
