Go Green to Save Green

Learn how regional companies are becoming environmentally and socially responsible while maintaining profitability at the Go Green to Save Green program on Friday, November 30. The event, presented by the Chamber in partnership with the Delaware Valley Green Building Council, is being held at The Hub in the Cira Centre.

Panelists from several of Greater Philadelphia’s most environmentally friendly companies will share practical information regarding sustainable business practices that can be easily applied to lower costs of operation, increase competitiveness, benefit consumers and employees and help meet any company's triple bottom line. Greening your office or business can begin with simple steps such as energy conservation, waste reduction practices and procurement of green materials and supplies.

Featured speaker, Judy Wicks, Founder of White Dog Cafe & of the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia, will discuss the "Triple Bottom Line," followed by two back-to-back panel discussions: "The Business Case for Sustainability"—an overview of sustainability facts and its impact on the region; and "Green Leaders and How to Get it Done"—a "how-to" session for any type of business, large or small.
