Women in the Workforce
Discover the tools and techniques successful woman professionals utilize to reach the top at the second annual Women in the Workforce on Thursday, December 13 at The Rittenhouse Hotel. Women in the Workforce focuses on the success of women business leaders in Philadelphia and the potential that women in all career levels can achieve.
A panel of prominent and diverse female executives will share stories about their professional journeys and career ambitions through a 20-minute rapid-fire question-and-answer session. The panelists will then rotate among small groups of attendees to lead discussions and provide further insight on networking, self-promotion and mentoring.
The panelists are Diana Bald, Vice President/General Manager, Univision 65 ad Telefutura 28; Linda Galante, Partner, Stradley Ronon; Tracee Hunt, Vice President, Human Resources, Philadelphia Coca Cola Company; Tammy Mattson; Managing Principal, Towers Perrin. The moderator is Angela Dowd-Burton, Manager, Government Relations and Grassroots Initiatives, Rohm and Haas.
Building off of last year’s success, this has become an essential event for our region’s women professionals. "Rarely do you get a chance to listen to such high profile women and then have the opportunity to interact with each of the panelists in small groups. This is a fabulous program that gives everyone the chance to learn from each other," said Ellen Fisher, Publisher, Women’s Yellow Pages of Greater Philadelphia.
Forums like Women in the Workforce are important for encouraging the exchange of ideas and knowledge, teaching females how to leverage their strengths, supporting women in corporate leadership roles, and inspiring female professionals to realize their potential.
