Mayor Nutter to Address the Business Community

Join the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Comcast Corporation, for the 25th Annual Mayoral Luncheon on February 13 at 11:30 a.m. at The Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel.

Take part in new Mayor Michael A. Nutter’s first formal address to the business community and listen as he shares his vision for our dynamic region.

Mayor Nutter is in a unique position to serve as ambassador for the city and the Greater Philadelphia region--with its premier location, transportation infrastructure, knowledge industry and diverse economy. The Chamber welcomes the dawning of a new day with his inauguration in January.

In addition to the Mayor’s address, two Philadelphia high school students will be honored for their outstanding community service when they receive the Gus Amsterdam Leadership Award, which includes a $5,000 scholarship towards higher education.

We also invite you to share Mayor Nutter's passion for education by bringing a new or well-conditioned book to the luncheon to give a young person a fundamental tool for success. Donated books will benefit Philadelphia Reads, an initiative of the Office of the Mayor that helps strengthen the literacy skills of Philadelphia's most needy school children.
