The Business of Going Green: A Conversation with Ted Turner

The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association invite you to attend a special conversation with Ted Turner, media entrepreneur, environmentalist, and philanthropist. The event will take place at the Hub Cira Centre on Tuesday, April 8 at noon.

Join Turner and local business leaders as we discuss ways we can work together to impact the future through environmental stewardship and local sustainability.

Turner, who founded the cable television network CNN, is also the founder and chairman of Ted's Montana Grill, the national restaurant chain. Ted’s Montana Grill is a pioneer in eco-friendly business practices. At Turner’s direction, the restaurant is 99% plastic-free and uses paper straws, bio-degradable to-go cups and recyclable to-go containers, and 100% recycled paper menus.
