Philadelphia County Breakfast
Join us for the Philadelphia County Breakfast on Tuesday, November 18 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the Union League in Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia County Breakfast will highlight initiatives in Philadelphia that are accelerating both local and regional economic growth. We will discuss topics such as 1-95, gaming and the proposed casino at Market East, and development along the Schuylkill River.
The discussion will be moderated by WHYY's Tracey Matisak and will feature Andrew Altman, City Representative & Director of Commerce, City of Philadelphia; Craig Carnaroli, Executive Vice President, University of Pennsylvania; and Rina Cutler, Deputy Mayor for Transportation & Public Utilities, City of Philadelphia.
This event is part of a series which visits counties in northern Delaware, southern New Jersey, and southeastern Pennsylvania to explore significant development projects that are changing where we live and work and making Greater Philadelphia an attractive, competitive place to do business.
Each breakfast will focus on an economic development initiative in that county. Key players including business executives, policy officials, and economic and civic leaders will discuss their involvement. Select Greater Philadelphia will describe the project's importance to regional economic growth.
The County Breakfast Series is sponsored by Wachovia. Technology support is provided by IMS Audio Visual. The Philadelphia County Breakfast is co-sponsored by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau and TransitChek.
