Goldman Sachs’ Abby Joseph Cohen at 2009 Economic Outlook

We are pleased to present Abby Joseph Cohen, President of the Global Markets Institute and Senior Investment Strategist at Goldman Sachs, as the featured speaker at the 11th annual Economic Outlook conference in partnership with Sovereign Bank. She will provide her perspective on the global economy, markets and government policy for 2009.

The event will take place on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 7:30 – 9:30 a.m., in the Grand Ballroom at the Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue. In addition, the program will look into the region's competitiveness and the issues that will impact the business community in the coming year.

The event also includes a panel discussion with members representing a range of industries, including William L. Graham, President, Enterprise Integration Group, Lockheed Martin Corporation; William P. Hankowsky, Chairman, President & CEO, Liberty Property Trust; Judith L. Mondre, President, Mondre Energy; and Ralph W. Muller, CEO, University of Pennsylvania Health System.

This breakfast traditionally attracts about 500 executives from a wide variety of business sectors and features a much-anticipated release of Sovereign Bank's economic survey results culled from responses by the regional business community. Economic forecasts will be presented for vital industry sectors in the region, including real estate, health care, energy and defense.
