Young Professionals Network invites you to listen to Bill Marrazzo, President and CEO of WHYY, Inc., discuss civic engagement in Greater Philadelphia during these tough economic times. This event, which includes a behind-the-scenes look at the public broadcasting station, will take place on Wednesday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m. at WHYY’s offices on Independence Mall West in Philadelphia.

WHYY, Inc. operates two public broadcasting stations—one radio, one television—covering the fourth largest market in the country. In an average week, approximately 1.3 million households tune to TV12 for information, education and entertainment and almost 365,000 weekly listeners enjoy WHYY FM programming. The two stations have over 100,000 members.

This event is presented in partnership with GPTMC, ModSpace, Saint Joseph’s University Haub School of Business, and TD Bank. The host sponsor is WHYY. Beverages will be provided by Premiere and catering by the Pita Pit.
