22nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance Awards Luncheon
Join the Mid-Atlantic Capital (MAC) Alliance on Thursday, June 4, as we celebrate the successes of our region’s entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals! The 22nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Capital (MAC) Alliance Awards Luncheon is the culmination of our program year, attracting over 500 of the private equity and entrepreneurial community's key leaders and players. Held at the Crystal Tea Room, in Philadelphia, the event will run from 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The 2009 Awards will recognize the following individuals, who have made a significant impact on the Greater Philadelphia private equity community:
John T. Tighe, President & CEO of TMG Health, will be receiving the Walter M. Aikman Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. This Award is presented for recent entrepreneurial success in the development of a venture-backed business with significant growth in sales, market impact, and value. We are thrilled to recognize one of our region’s successes!
David R. King, Venture Partner at Quaker BioVentures, is our second honoree this year. David, a long-time member of our community, will be honored with the Raymond Rafferty Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. This Award recognizes an individual who has founded one or more successful venture-backed companies and has greatly influenced a specific industry with pioneering ideas.
RoseAnn Rosenthal, President & CEO of Ben Franklin Technology Partners/ SEP, is our final honoree for 2009. RoseAnn has 40 years of experience in the economic & financial development of the region and will be receiving the Blair Thompson Lifetime Venture Award. This is awarded in recognition of a direct, major and successful role in furthering the region’s venture interests by promoting or strengthening our venture capital base and innovatively enhancing the venture process.
