Chamber Conference Rooms Help Members Put Their Best Foot Forward

For the past 12 years, Networks for Training and Development, Inc. (Networks) has been a member of The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. As a small nonprofit training and consultant organization, we provide a variety of training and information sharing events related to the promotion of inclusive communities throughout the Delaware Valley. The Chamber has afforded Networks with the opportunity to build bridges to the business communities through relationship building opportunities and visibility amongst a multitude of businesses in the greater Philadelphia region.

Aside from all of the wonderful networking opportunities afforded to us, the most valuable membership benefit to Networks is the ability to use the conference rooms at the Chamber for free. Not only is the location in Center City convenient, but the rooms have every amenity a company could ever need during a meeting. Each room is equipped with a laptop, conference call telephone, projector, and DVD player. You can even request help from the Chamber’s IT department.

In recent years, Networks has become involved in a citywide initiative, Philadelphia Vision for Employment 2010 through Philadelphia Mental Retardation Services to promote “employment for all” through a series of events, meetings, conferences, and training events. The Chamber of Commerce has provided a consistent and supportive space for us to meet, greet others in the business world, and spread the word about inclusive business communities!
