Gain Insight from Procurement Officers at Supplier Network Series

Come to our Supplier Network Fall Series program and gain insight from leading companies’ procurement officers into the purchasing process and how to effectively market your company, locate requests for proposals and vie for contracts.

The Supplier Network three-session fall series will kick off on October 21, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., in the DiBona Room at the Chamber offices, located in Center City. An additional half-day training session will follow on October 28, and the series will finish with a networking session on November 4.

The Supplier Network series connects small business owners and executives with the region’s foremost procurement officers. By enhancing their marketability and developing their business strategies, Supplier Network businesses bolster their qualifications to compete for contracts with the region’s larger companies. The series is seeing tangible results as more and more small companies — including woman-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned — are gaining direct business connections to procurement executives and learning the secrets of securing contracts with large regional companies and government agencies.

Since the program’s launch in 2005, close to 300 companies have been trained and designated as SN members, providing them with unique access to dozens of supporting organizations, and a competitive edge in dealing with procurement officers at any organization.

Advantages built into the program include a five-minute personal pitch, plus ongoing exposure, to regional procurement executives; exclusive networking invitations; inclusion in the SN Web site database and other recognition for SN graduates. There is a one-time fee of $250 which includes the series, ongoing exclusive networking events, and advanced educational workshops for the duration of your Chamber membership.

To become an SN member, vendor companies must be a Chamber member, have been in operation for at least three years, and successfully complete the entire training series. Pre-registration is necessary.

This event is presented by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Supporting investors for this event are Canon Business Solutions and Walmart.
