Young Professionals Network Event at the American Pub

Join us for a night of networking, socializing and giving at one of the city’s newest happy hour hotspots, the American Pub. The event, which will feature Charlie Pizzi, President and CEO, Tasty Baking Company, will be on Thursday, December 17, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the American Pub located in Center City.

This spring, Mr. Pizzi will be awarded with the Chamber's 2009 William Penn Award , the highest honor bestowed upon a business executive in Greater Philadelphia. Throughout his career, he has been an advocate of business interests and regional cooperation in the Greater Philadelphia region. Prior to joining Tasty Baking Company, Mr. Pizzi served as President and CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (1989-2002). He is currently the incoming Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

Please join us to celebrate Mr. Pizzi’s most recent accomplishments and hear how he has achieved success. Additionally, YPN will be kicking off its annual toy drive for McClure Elementary school, so bring a gift and brighten a child’s holiday season this year.
