Chester County Breakfast: Exploring Smart Energy
Join us at the Chester County Breakfast, part of our annual County Breakfast Conversations series, to learn how smart energy is driving economic development and accelerating regional growth. The breakfast will take place on Tuesday, December 8, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Phoenixville Foundry in Chester County.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the dialogue as we address the future of smart energy in Chester County and explore emerging businesses opportunities and how companies and individuals can best navigate the vast array of energy information available.
The panel discussion, moderated by WHYY’s Maiken Scott, will feature The Hon. Terence Farrell, Chairman, Chester County Commissioners; Paul D. Spiegel, P.E., President, Practical Energy Solutions; and Thomas J. Tuffey, Chairman, Smart Energy Initiative, Chester Economic Development Council; Director, Center for Energy, Enterprise and Environment, Citizens for Pennsylvania's Future (PennFuture).
Select Greater Philadelphia will provide an update on its progress as it relates to the alternate energy sector in our region and attendees will have an opportunity to meet Chamber President and CEO Rob Wonderling.
In its sixth year, County Breakfast Conversations is visiting eight counties throughout northern Delaware, southern New Jersey, and southeastern Pennsylvania. Each breakfast will highlight a specific industry that is driving local economic development and accelerating regional growth.
The next County Breakfast will take place in Bucks County on Wednesday, January 27.
There is no attendance charge for Chamber members.
