Meet Key Congressional Staff Members, 2/17
Meet and talk with key staff members of our region’s congressional delegation at the Chamber’s fifth annual Congressional Staff Luncheon.
This event, which will take place at The Down Town Club in the Public Ledger Building in Center City on Wednesday, February 17 at 11:30 a.m., will provide a unique opportunity for business leaders to share issues of regional importance with the individuals who work closely with members of Congress.
As the Chamber continues its efforts to make our region a better place for business, it is proud to provide forums that connect Greater Philadelphia’s business community with policy makers.
Because congressional staff members are the first line of contact for elected officials, they are helpful in providing information to constituents and relaying concerns to office holders. To be most effective in dealing with Congress on legislative issues, it is important to understand the functions of these individuals. Although they are rarely recognized for all of their efforts, these are the influential people who ensure offices run smoothly and who have the respect and attention of Congressional Members when important issues arise. The Congressional Staff Luncheon is our way to show appreciation for all their hard work.
Among the guests invited to attend this luncheon are chiefs of staff, state and district directors, and legislative assistants from both House & Senate offices representing districts in southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and northern Delaware.
This event is sponsored by Boeing, Comcast, Drexel University, and Keystone Mercy Health Plan. The Audio Visual sponsor is Cenero.
