County Breakfast Series Kicks off in Chester County
Join us for the kick-off event of the 5th Annual County Breakfast Series on Thursday, September 11 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in Chester County at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center.
The Chester County Breakfast will investigate developments along the R5 rail route. Panelists will discuss station redevelopment, route expansion and how growth is impacting the commuting patterns of Chester County residents.
The discussion will be moderated by WHYY's Tracey Matisak and will feature Carol Aichele, Chair, Chester County Commissioners and Chair, Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission; Ronald T. Bailey, Executive Director, Chester County Planning Commission; and Robert Gross, Principal, The Vanguard Group.
This event is part of a series which will visit counties in northern Delaware, southern New Jersey, and southeastern Pennsylvania to highlight significant development projects that are changing where we live and work and making Greater Philadelphia an attractive, competitive place to do business.
Each breakfast will focus on an economic development initiative in that county. Key players including business executives, policy officials, and economic and civic leaders will discuss their involvement. Select Greater Philadelphia will describe the project's importance to regional economic growth.
The County Breakfast Series is sponsored by Wachovia. Technology support is provided by IMS Audio Visual.
