Al is employed by Johnson & Johnson as Senior Director in the Worldwide Environment, Health & Safety department where he directs the global Product Stewardship, Design for Environment and Green Marketing programs. He is the author of the book "Industry Self-regulation and Voluntary Environmental Compliance" (CRC Press, 2002) and has written numerous articles on product stewardship and environmental compliance topics.
Al has over 28 years of experience in the EHS field and has led the support of Johnson & Johnson's environmental and toxicology programs as well as development of the Healthy Planet 2010 Sustainability goals. He has experience as an environmental consultant and worked as a hazardous waste inspector for the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.
