CHAMBER MEMBER GERARD P. CUDDY HONORED MANOR COLLEGE

At the annual Basilian Scholarship Gala in April, Manor College President Sister Mary Cecilia Jurasinski, OSBM presented Beneficial Bank President and CEO Gerard P. Cuddy, a life-long member of the GPCC, with the Community Leadership Award in recognition of Mr. Cuddy’s personal commitment to higher education. And, more specifically, the historic role Beneficial Bank played in the development of Manor College and other Catholic Colleges and Universities in the Philadelphia area.
Manor College in Montgomery County is a private two-year Catholic institution founded in 1947 by the Ukrainian Sisters of St. Basil the Great. Manor College is unique in that it offers students a multi-cultural focus that originated from Ukrainian tradition. Manor College considers itself to be a “gateway” to students’ future educational aspirations and success in the workplace
