Inglis Five Race (5K) - April 26, 2009 - Fairmount Park

WHAT: Formerly a 5-mile race, the Inglis Five is now a 5K! The race will take place along a 5K course beginning at Fairmount Park's Memorial Hall. Prizes will be awarded to the top male, female and team runners, as well as to the top wheelchair and handcycle finishers.

WHEN: Sunday, April 26, 2009. Start time is 9:00 a.m. Prizes awarded around 10:00 a.m.

WHERE: Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. Race begins at 4231 Avenue of the Republic (formerly North Concourse Drive) in front of Memorial Hall.

WHO: Runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes and handcyclers. Athletes range from individuals to families with small children to teams.

WHY: The race benefits the social, therapeutic and recreational programs of Inglis House.
