Paradigm Award™ & Scholarship
The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Paradigm Award™ is presented annually to a singular woman in business whose outstanding professional and personal achievements serve as a model for success.
A nominee for the Paradigm Award™ is distinguished as an influential executive of a profit-making enterprise with a strong local economic impact. Her leadership and dedication to a variety of interests contribute significantly to the socio-economic prosperity of the Greater Philadelphia region. She is respected in her profession and throughout the community for her commitment to excellence and her vision for women and future generations.
Through the generosity and determination of many individuals and corporations, the Paradigm Award™ program has grown to include the Paradigm Scholarship for Working Women. To enhance and benefit the career aspirations of working women in the Greater Philadelphia area, this merit scholarship is awarded annually to women who wish to complete their undergraduate degrees while working full-time for Chamber member companies. Scholarship recipients are announced at the Paradigm Award™ celebration each year in March.

Annual Excellence Awards
In 1982, the Chamber created the Small Business Excellence Awards to showcase the achievement and impact of “small businesses” in our region. Each year, businesses with fewer than 100 employees are recognized for their creativity, vitality, stability and relevance. Equally important in selecting winners are civic involvement and responsiveness, mentoring, corporate responsibility, employee recognition and concerns regarding service issues.
Over the years, the scope of the Small Business Excellence Awards has grown with the help of the Chamber's Volunteer Program and Small Business Board. The Awards Committee has supported the Chamber by creating new initiatives, increasing involvement in the nomination process, outlining categories and establishing criteria for measuring and defining excellence for this esteemed honor.

William Penn Award™ Gala
The William Penn Award™ is the highest honor bestowed upon a business person in the Greater Philadelphia business community. Each spring, recipients are chosen for their outstanding contributions toward the betterment of the region, their professional accomplishments, and their commitment to charity as well as to the community.
This formal dinner-dance welcomes nearly 1,000 business leaders as they pay tribute to the recipient. The program is preceded by an elegant networking reception.

Arts & Business Council Awards
The mission of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia, the “cultural arm” of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, is to serve as an advocate for business involvement in the arts. The Council's annual signature event is Arts & Business Council Awards. Each May nearly 1,700 leaders from the business and arts communities attend the Awards festivities and luncheon to recognize outstanding business leadership in the support and nurturing of the arts in our region.
