The voice of the cultural community offers several programs to integrate regional professionals with the arts scene.

Business on Board®

Matches business professionals coached in nonprofit board governance with arts and cultural organizations and equips executive directors and board leaders of arts organizations to more effectively recruit, manage and engage board members.

Business Volunteers for the Arts® (BVA)

Aims to strengthen the management of arts and cultural organizations by placing mid-to upper-level business professionals as volunteer management consultants with arts managers and their boards to work on administrative and operational issues.

Technology Connectors™

Improves the technological capacity of the region's arts and cultural organizations, helping them use technology more strategically to be better positioned to serve their missions and operate efficiently. The program develops partnerships between arts and cultural organizations and region's leading technology companies and professionals, creating access to a wide range of comprehensive technology assistance, while the participating technology professionals expand their skills and professional networks.

Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts

Offers pro bono legal referral, assistance, and representation for artists and nonprofit arts and cultural organizations on arts-related legal issues through a network of volunteer attorneys throughout the region. Among the services provided by the PVLA legal volunteers are: document review, such as contracts and leases; assistance with nonprofit incorporation and bylaws; and full-service representation.
