Chamber President & CEO Rob Wonderling will acknowledge Chamber accomplishments over the past program year and preview agenda items for the coming year. Also, we will welcome new GPCC Chairman of the Board, William P. Hankowsky, Chairman, President and CEO of Liberty Property Trust, and say thank you to outgoing Chairman of the Board, David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation. Excellence Awards Honoring Small Businesses

A Conversation with the Governor

Mayoral Luncheon

With more than 1,000 people in attendance at this annual luncheon, it is the largest forum for the Mayor of Philadelphia to address the region’s business community. The Mayor typically uses this occasion to introduce new economic development initiatives and share his vision for the city.

Paradigm AwardTM and Scholarship

The Paradigm AwardTM is presented annually to a woman in business whose outstanding professional and personal achievements serve as a model for success. The recipient is awarded $25,000 to donate to a women’s charity of her choice.

Along with the award, the Chamber administers the Paradigm Scholarship for Working Women, which provides scholarship opportunities for women, who are employed full-time and wish to complete their undergraduate degrees.

William Penn AwardTM Gala

The William Penn AwardTM is the highest honor bestowed upon a business person in the Greater Philadelphia business community. Each spring, recipients are chosen for their outstanding contributions toward the betterment of the region, their professional accomplishments, and their commitment to charity as well as to the community. This formal dinner-dance welcomes regional business leaders as they pay tribute to the recipient. The program is preceded by an elegant networking reception.
